It’s the ECOSE® Technology that goes into every product that makes them so special, meaning they’re easy to handle, cut and install, super soft and most importantly produce outstanding results – with varying levels of acoustic and thermal benefits gained, depending on the R-Value you choose.

Another difference you might notice about Earthwool products is their natural brown colour, which is due to the fact that we don’t add any dyes, artificial colours or bleaches. Earthwool products have no added formaldehyde and have been awarded the Declare® ‘Red List Free’ label. This means that all the raw materials that are used for manufacturing Earthwool glasswool have been disclosed and are Red List Free. Earthwool is also Green Tag GreenRate Level A certified. With Earthwool® insulation products being BRANZ Appraised and fully compliant with the Building Code of Australia, you can be confident that you’re getting a safe, reliable and great quality solution.

Non-combustible

Earthwool® insulation is naturally non-combustible without the need for toxic fire retardants.

Made using recycled glass

Earthwool® is made using up to 80% recycled glass and as well as being a sustainable product, the insulation has inherent thermal and acoustic performance.

No added formaldehyde

Earthwool® insulation made with ECOSE® Technology benefits from a binder which has no added formaldehyde and is based on renewable, bio-based materials instead of traditional petro-based chemicals. The ECOSE® Technology binder is less energy intensive than the formaldehyde binders used in traditional Glasswool insulation.
